According to the reports uTorrent came bundled with a piece of crapware called EpicScale that uses computer to mine for Bitcoins and it is installed silently on your computer.
If you have updated or installed a new version of uTorrent please check your list of programs for this crapware and uninstall it.
Remember anybody that bundles crapware into their installer should not be trusted.
