To increase the security of Yahoo mail, Yahoo introduced on-demand passwords. With this feature active in your mail account you don’t have to memorize difficult passwords to sign into your Yahoo mail account. Yahoo will send you a new password to your mobile phone number every time you sign into your mail account.
How to activate on-demand passwords:
1. Sign in to your Yahoo.com account.
2. Click on your name at the top right corner to go to your account information page.
3. Select “Account Security” in the left bar.
4. Click on the slider for “On-demand passwords” to opt-in.
5. Enter your phone number and Yahoo will send you a verification code.
6. Enter the code and voila!
On-demand passwords is now available for U.S. users. Try it out today!
